NC Pre-K Assistant Teacher

Candidates must have at least an AAS in Early Childhood Ed. Previous NC Pre-K experience in Wake County is strongly preferred.
The assistant teacher is responsible for working alongside the lead teacher in maintaining a high quality classroom that meets NC Pre-K, Wake County Smart Start, and Creative Schools requirements. S/he will assist with managing TS Gold assessments, observations, and portfolios. S/he provides a nurturing and stimulating learning environment, and meets individual learning needs. S/he should be able to use Conscious Discipline methods in the classroom, and work with diverse populations.
