The center is in a residential area of North Raleigh across from Litchford Village Shopping Center. We are just off Atlantic Avenue convenient to Falls of the Neuse, Durant Road and the 540 Interchange. (see map below)

We have an open door policy. Visitors and parents are welcome at all times. You may come by the center any time during our hours of operation or you may make an appointment for a particular time.
The center director, Amanda Kowski, has been at the center since September 2011. Amanda holds a B.A. and M.A. Ed degree in Early Childhood Education and 14+ years in the field of child care and development. You may speak with her or one of our other office staff will be glad to give you a tour and/or answer any of your questions.
Our hours of operation: Monday - Friday 6:30 am to 6:00 pm
Harps Mill serves children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. All caregivers are trained in Early Childhood Education and everyone in the center is required to be certified in CPR and First Aid.
Breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack are provided each day.
Harps Mill Creative School is an exceptionally clean facility built specifically for child care. There are large view windows in every classroom so that parents and visitors can observe the daily activities without interrupting the classrooms. Also cameras located in each classroom allow the Director to observe the classrooms on a monitor in the center’s office.
