We have an open door policy. Visitors and parents are welcome at all times. You may come by the center any time during our operating hours or you may make an appointment for a particular time.
The center director, Kim Knight, has been with Creative Schools since May 2001. Kim has a degree in Early Childhood Education and over 20 years experience as center director. You may speak with her or one of our other office staff will be glad to give you a tour and/or answer any of your questions.

Wakefield Creative School serves ages 6 weeks to 12 years.
All teachers are trained in Early Childhood Education and everyone is required to take CPR and First Aid.
Two snacks and a hot lunch are provided each day. We have four revolving menus that are available to the parents for viewing.
Wakefield Creative School is an exceptionally clean facility built specifically for children and their busy minds. Each classroom has a large one-way mirror that allows for parents to view the classroom’s activities. Cameras are located in each classroom and the classrooms can be viewed in the director’s office. The front door can only be accessed with a code for security. We have infant, toddler, two year old and three and four year old playgrounds each with equipment that is developmentally appropriate for the age group. We also have an area for structured outdoor activities in two separate fenced-in areas. Wakefield Creative School has an indoor resource room that is available for children to run around, play games, or even play with the balls and parachute. This room is used when the weather does not permit the classes to go outside.
The curriculum for our older infants through our Preschool classrooms is the Creative Curriculum® . Our three, four and five year old classrooms each have two computers for the children to use.
Spanish and Music programs are included in the tuition. B.A. Tumbler’s Tumblebus, for an additional fee, provides gymnastic classes for children 18 months to 5 years of age.
