We are looking for an experienced cook to provide nutritious and pleasing meals, in order to contribute to an inviting and stimulating learning environment. S/he will oversee all aspects of food preparation within the guidelines of Creative Schools, licensing and sanitation regulations and CACFP requirements. Come join our team!

Minimum requirements:

• HS diploma. NC Childcare Credentials preferred.
• At least one year experience working in mid- to large-scale food preparation. ServSafe certification preferred.
• Current NC DCDEE Criminal Record Check.
• Knowledge of NC DCDEE and sanitation regulations.

Additional skills needed:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Desire to interact with children and families, and to contribute to a high quality childcare environment.
