Assistant Director of Education
Apply Online** This will be a hybrid role mixing responsibilities from our two traditional roles. Typically we had a more Education focused role as well as a Business/Operations focused role. This position will be the perfect blend between the two giving the candidate a more rounded experience leading a school and preparing them to be a future Director.

We are currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic leader to support teachers and help them grow! The Curriculum Specialist provides mentoring, coaching and support in the areas of lesson planning, curriculum, classroom management and positive behavior support. S/he must have a strong knowledge of Creative Curriculum and Conscious Discipline. S/he works with the Assistant Director and Director to lead the school in offering quality care to young children.

Employment Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills
- At least 5 years’ experience working in licensed childcare centers
- Previous center administration preferred
- A positive attitude and a passion for making a difference in the lives of children
- Strong knowledge of ITERS, ECERS and NAEYC
- Great organization skills and ability to be a “self-starter”
- North Carolina Early Childhood Credentials and current CRC
- BA/BS in Early Childhood Education (or related field)
